2010 CPU Water Blocks Round Up

By Daz May 3, 2010

Supreme LT

In 2009 we have selected EK Supreme LT as the best block under price-performance criteria. With price down 25%  to sub $50 and with trendy Nickel plated versions available in this block’s line up, Supreme LT secured its place in our review.

In our test Supreme LT performed well for cooling over clocked system at full range of fan speeds from performance 3000rpm to silent 720rpm with acceptable temperature levels of high 50s c. The Supreme LT flow rate was on par with latest Swiftech Apogee XT and it is suitable for multi-block water cooling system.

Ones again we couldn’t support the theory that horizontal or vertical orientation of  Supreme LT makes a difference. We did extra mounts, but no definite difference was observed in temperature readings.

EK Supre LT Review Test

While LT lacks bling-bling factor of other blocks in this review,  it is hard to find a better value deal then Supreme LT can offer.
