What is that?
The Alphacool DC-LT 2 2600rpm Ceramic – 12V DC (Sinus PCB) is a pump which is designed for use in computer water cooling systems. Even the previous model was considered a quiet little wonder. Now Alphacool has improved this product considerably thanks to the experience gained. With this pump, small to medium-sized water loops can be operated almost silently. Alphacool already uses this pump successfully in the GPU-AiO Eiswolf 2 which, in various independent tests, was classified as inaudible.
How is the quiet running of this pump achieved?
There are several points to mention: The true 3-phase sinusoidal control of the pump contributes to the extremely quiet running of this pump. The impeller is suspended on a ceramic axle with two magnets. The ceramic axle is manufactured with high precision and the impeller is cleanly balanced. All these details contribute to the Alphacool DC-LT 2 2600rpm Ceramic – 12V DC (Sinus PCB) pump is virtually silent.
What else is special about this pump?
The control of the pump, the mechanics and thus the pump itself is highly efficient. Compared to other models, the power consumption is significantly lower with the same or even higher power output. It has a wide control range and starts reliably from 7V power supply.

The pump is really small and fits into one of the Eisstation reservoirs. It’s nice and quiet but the only thing I don’t like (and this goes for all Alphacool products) is how easily the pump cable can be snapped or broken. Keep that in mind when using it.
